Sue Rodrigues:

I have forty years’ experience of supporting people through difficult times, twenty years as a qualified counsellor, ten supported and challenged by my IPN colleagues. My aim is to work in partnership with clients, providing a safe space in which to explore and develop a greater awareness of self, hence discovering heightened abilities to manage life issues.

My experience includes teaching on Counselling Courses through to qualifying level, supervising counsellors and social workers and providing foster care for young people. My current contract involves supporting families and staff working with children who have palliative care needs.

Chris Dawson:

After 35 years teaching and leading in schools, Chris trained as a hypnotherapist, took early retirement and, in 2003 set up in private practice.  Since his initial training, he has gone on to train in NLP, CBT, EFT and Mindfulness approaches to therapy.  He also has a Certificate in Counselling Skills.  Though he still sees individual clients, with fellow member of the Manchester IPN group Jonathan Lloyd, he has been increasingly working with school leaders and staff on stress management, well-being and emotional resilience for the whole school community.

Sue Harman:

Sue is a qualified and registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy, a trained clinical hypnotherapist and Mindfulness practitioner. Her latest training has been as a Supervisor with the Diploma being awarded in 2015.
Starting her counselling career in the NHS has brought a wide breadth of experience and challenge, coupled with a solid understanding and knowledge of the stresses and anxieties arising from working in the corporate world.
Alongside her integrative counselling work, Sue may also make use of creative therapies, where appropriate, to bring about change, offering painting/drawing/writing, harnessing metaphor and visualisation.
Hypnotherapy can be offered as part of an on-going treatment or as a stand-alone therapy dependent upon the individual needs of the client.
Sue has had her own private practice for some years now, offering both short and long-term therapy to adults and teenagers.
